How we do it?

DMDA was established in 1993 as an organization designed to develop and maintain relationships with the education sector, state and local government, corporate industry, civic organizations , ministry’s, non-profit’s, individual’s and agency systems collaborating to make our community better.

We are pleased with the level of commitment we have received from community leaders and corporate partnerships to help build and maintain successful programs that address education, jobs, health, justice and housing initiatives in the entire community. DMDA has become part of a larger movement through private and public partnership that shows tremendous promise in sustaining a positive impact in Decatur and Morgan County. This model for private and public partnerships also offers regional and national opportunities for minority development and service organizations to enhance diversity and economic development opportunities.
